Introducing Street Scene Sunday: A New Weekly Series Celebrating Street Art from Around the Globe

There’s something truly captivating about wandering through a new city and discovering unexpected bursts of color—murals that stop you in your tracks, graffiti that tells a story, and artistic expressions that bring a neighborhood to life.

I’m excited to launch a brand-new weekly series here on Lenses and Latitudes called Street Scene Sunday! Every Sunday, I’ll be highlighting stunning street art from around the world—featuring both large-scale murals and hidden gems found off the beaten path.

One of my favorite things to do while exploring a new destination is to roam the streets, camera in hand, searching for bold, beautiful art. I’m drawn to both official murals and graffiti that’s created with intention and respect—not vandalism, but art that adds character, identity, and culture to a community.

And there’s more to come…

In the coming weeks, I’ll be adding a Maps section to the website, where you’ll be able to see exactly where each featured piece of street art is located. Whether you’re planning a trip or just love seeing the world through a creative lens, this map will help you experience these visual stories firsthand.

I’d also love to hear from you!
If there’s any amazing street art in your area—or pieces you’ve spotted on your travels—drop a comment below and let me know where to find it. Who knows, it might be featured in an upcoming Street Scene Sunday!

Let’s explore the world’s walls together—one story, one city, one Sunday at a time.
