Hi, I’m Angela Addington—a travel photographer, solo traveler, storyteller and founder of Lenses & Latitudes. What began as Adventures in Lexington has grown into a journey across small towns, big cities, backroads and continents.
As a woman over 50 who often travels solo, I understand the questions that come with planning an independent trip: Will I feel comfortable exploring alone? Is the destination easy to navigate? Is an experience worth the time and expense? My stories draw on firsthand experience to answer those questions honestly and help readers travel with greater confidence.
With a camera slung over my shoulder and faith guiding my path, I explore with intention—capturing beauty, uncovering hidden gems and creating connections through stories.

My Journey as a Travel Photographer & Storyteller
My love for photography began in high school behind a yearbook camera and eventually took me from local events to the sidelines of Notre Dame. Today, that same passion fuels my travel writing, destination photography and storytelling for small businesses, attractions and nonprofit organizations.
I’m a Level 10 Google Local Guide, Yelp Ambassador and Tripadvisor Ambassador. These experiences have sharpened my ability to notice the details travelers need—what a place genuinely feels like, who it suits and what visitors should know before they arrive.
